星期六晚上，我在家里闲着没事干。啊！老师布置的复习作业还没完成，就剩下背诵了，我为什么不抓紧时间背呢？
我拿出语文书，找到第二课《林海》，开始了复习背诵，一会儿工夫，OK了，我叫来妈妈，说：“老妈，我背会了，快来检查。”于是，我开始了背诵。谁知道刚开始背得十分流利，可背了几句之后，总是不知道该背什么，显得断断续续的。“烦死了，怎么这么不好背！”我气呼呼地说。妈妈语重心长地说“耐心一些！”我重新拿起书，耐心地一遍一遍读课文，再把背的不好的句子不停地读来读去。接着，又一遍遍地给自己背诵。就这样，几分钟过去了，我似乎已经背得很流利了，我又把句与句之间的'连接读了许多遍。现在应该不错了吧！我鼓起勇气跑到厨房叫来了妈妈……
“及至看到了林场，这种亲切之感更加深厚了，我们伐木取材，也造林护苗，一手砍，一手栽……”听着我流利的背诵，妈妈终于露出了满意的笑容。连我自己也没想到，我竟然背得如此流利通顺，想想刚才我复习的情景：反复读课文（强化理解），反复读句子（语句连贯）……啊！我发现了快速背课文的方法！这样，我又用这种方法背了后面几篇课文，都很成功！

小朋友们，不知道你们喜欢背课文吗？反正，我是不喜欢。每当老师让我们背课文的时候，我的头都大了。这要命的文字，我总是记不进去。
这不，今天老师又让我们背课文了。这可是一个超级难的事情。我怎么背也背不好，时间一分一秒的过去了，可我只能记住两三句，经常是记住了前面，忘记了后面，要么是记住了后面，就忘记了前面，这可咋办呢？妈妈对我说：“你不要这么着急，心越急柴越湿，你先通读几遍课文，理解了课文的内容，然后再一句一句的记住，如果句子短的话，可以两三句一起记，最后，窜起来再记一下，要是碰到忘记的地方，再看看书，再记记，肯定会记住的。”我按照妈妈的方法，试着去记。可是，发现效果还是不怎么好。于是，妈妈又说：“记忆讲究的是方法，死记硬背是行不通的，即便你能背出来，但也很快会忘记的。其实，记忆可以有联想法，你自己试着用什么联想，印象更深刻，这样记起来既快又不太容易遗忘，你再试试看。”我又照妈妈的方法试了一下，发现好了一点，比原先记起来更容易一点了。接着，我就照这样的方法去背课文。总算谢天谢地的把这篇课文勉勉强强的'背出来了。妈妈又对我说：“再多读几遍，有助于记忆，要不然，很快要忘记的。”我又照妈妈说的，又多读了几遍课文。
哦！天哪！这要命的文字，真够捉弄人的呀！

My favourite great book is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain.
Tom Sawyer is a lively and clever boy. He lives with his aunt Polly. His aunt is strict with him, so he runs to an island in the middle of the Mississippi River with two friends, Huck and Joe. With Huck, he goes looking for treasure; with Becky, he gets lost in a cave. And finally Tom and Huck find a box of gold. Tom is the hero of the story, but there are other important characters. Becky is pretty with fair hair. Huck is Tom’s best friend, and Injun Joe is the bad man of the story.
The theme of the story is to do with children growing up and becoming more serious.

这一天我刚上完机器人课，然后悄悄地回到了家，可是无论我的脚步多轻，妈妈还是听见了，于是她拿着英语书冲到了外面，要我背给她听，我小声说：我不会。妈妈一听，立马火冒一万丈并且快速冲进房间里，拿出了她珍藏的大皮带冲向了我，狠狠地打了我一顿。边打嘴里边说：不会背，还有理了，看我不打死你！打了近五分钟，虽然只是五分钟，但是我觉得好像过了一个世纪。终于妈妈的怒火停息了，她吼道：快点给我去背！于是我边走边想：臭妈妈！
背了近一个半小时，我信心满满地给妈妈背了一遍，可是到第二自然段时，我忘了下面是什么，于是我又被打了一顿。我想：我怎么可能会背下来。
晚上7点，我终于能背完了，然后我又找妈妈背了一遍，可是妈妈用一个词不流利成功地又将我打败了，我心灰意冷地说：好吧，我重新背。我想：哎，看来今天是睡不了觉了。
功夫不负有心人，终于在晚上11时我成功的'背下了这篇英语课文，当妈妈给出不错的好评时，我激动地蹦了起来，大声喊：我终于背下来了！
